Covenant Discipleship is a uniquely Methodist approach to small groups. Groups meet for an hour once a week (usually) to ask and answer the question: where do you see Christ in your life? This simple practice of re-narrating life with Christ in the middle helps us discover greater meaning and purpose.
Note: We cap Covenant Discipleship groups at 8 people. We’d love to launch more, so let us know your interest!

Sundays (March 1 & 8) from 11:15 am – 12:30 pm meeting in the library at the church.
Are you already connected to GUMC? Do you consider this congregation your church home? Do you feel like you belong here? Would you like to belong here?
At GUMC, we strive to actively live the example of Jesus Christ. We believe that the best possible way to live like Christ is to do so in community. This is part of living the promise of our baptism. Church membership is how we recognize that commitment to community.
If you want to become a member but this schedule doesn’t work, contact Pastor Marty: pastormarty@gumonline.org

Practicing the Way is a resource that explores the essential practices of faith, from service to sabbath. If you want to build better holy habits and get to know some folks, a Practicing the Way Group is a great place to start.

This is a great opportunity to get to know new people, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy the gift of fellowship. Those registered will be placed in groups of eight or nine and given guidelines. The goal is to meet four to five times throughout the year to share a meal at home or at a restaurant, alternating hosts. Register your interest and we’ll take it from there!
