Tasting the Word: A Biblical Buffet

Food is involved in many of the most important events and valuable lessons in the Bible. When God wants to get our attention, God does it at mealtime. In our time together we will look at stories in both the Old and New Testaments that took place "at table." Sometimes that "table" was in a tent, other times on a hillside, beach or Upper Room. The experience will include scripture study, personal reflection, discussion, and samples of groceries found in Bible lands and times. It's an experience that focuses on hospitality and foods that sometimes comfort and sometimes challenge. Childcare will close on 3/3/19 for this event.
